Betway Enters US Sports activities Wagering Panorama Partnering with DGC
Betway, the UK-based online gaming company, announced that it will enter the US by signing a new trademark license agreement with the Digital Gaming Corporation. The well-known online casino operator will initially work with DGC as their content provider in ten US states.
The Betway brand currently operates in over 20 regulated gaming markets worldwide and is known worldwide for excellence. With this agreement, DGC undertakes to further expand its presence in the US and has committed itself to finding partners who match its strategic goals.
Betway is known for its online gambling brands like Betway Casino and Betway Sportsbook. They offer bingo, poker, and various other game options. Turning to the US, the company will focus on the growing sports betting sector as well as certain casino games available for both mobile and desktop platforms.
An exclusive agreement
DGC is marketed under the Betway brand and plans to offer a variety of lines for all sports, as well as in-play betting for all US and European professional sports leagues. All of the games and options available under each ten state operational area. DGC Betway also has many unique features including live streaming of events. This also includes Bet Builder, Partial Withdrawal and Early Withdrawal options.

Betway’s plans for US expansion
In an interview, Betway’s Alan Alger spoke to EGR about the new partnership agreement, which included an exclusive trademark license agreement with Digital Gaming Corporation to use the Betway brand for all operations.
New Jersey was the first state in which DGC, in partnership with BetMGM, signed a slot machine supply agreement. This agreement was approved in September 2020.
The rapid rise of online gambling in the US over the past two years has given international operators like Betway the opportunity to move to the country. In 2020, the well-known international operator Kindred Group launched its Unibet brand based in Malta. The company has agreements in Arizona and California.
Unibet has signed a ten year contract with the Quechan Tribe of the Fort Yuma Indian Reservation. The partnership includes online and retail sports betting as well as iGaming. The launch in both states will depend on the implementation of sports betting and online betting legislation.
In the coming months, Betway will be looking for out-licensing agreements and plans to enter these ten US markets to begin operations and further build their excellent reputation with new sports betting customers.
